we change ours every time they start to break or if they are cracking and you can tell when they need to be changed because they with leave streaks on your windshield:)|||PRN|||When they are streaking too much, or are torn. It all depends on your climate, and how much they are used.|||as often as needed just hit the windsheild washers and see if they are leaving streaks if so change them.|||According to the radio every ground hog day.|||As needed, or every year, whatever...
I do as needed.
Best Wishes...
%26quot;/JOe|||Whenever they start leaving streaks.|||well, I have had my car for 2 1/2 years and I have not changed them yet~! I think I need to,though~!!!!!so, I would not be the one to ask~!lol~!|||I don%26#039;t go by time period, rather, I replace them when they stop wiping clean and streak free. Also, if they begin to make a lot of noise, it generally means the rubber is going bad. Don%26#039;t fix it if it ain%26#039;t broke...|||At least once per year in cold climates|||Everytime it doesn%26#039;t clean your windshield well ! But Jokes apart you should change it before every monsoon or when it starts giving bad results.|||twice a year spring/late fall!! but buy the best ones you can find!!|||when they stop cleaning the windshield.are they streaking?if they are, then clean them with alcohol.

What type of windshield wiper blades does a 2005 Chevy Cobalt use and where can I buy them?
I bought a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt in that year, and I have not changed the wiper blades since. The blades seem to be wearing out (i.e. - They frequently fail to get about 15% of the water off of the areas they traverse), and I want to replace them. I don%26#039;t know anything about windshield wiper blades. First of all, what type of blade does my car use? What is its designation? Secondly, from which stores can I cheaply buy decent brand replacements? Thanks.|||The factory uses a special type of wiper blade on the cobalt cars. You do not need to replace the wiper blade unless its bent. You should stop by your local chevy dealers service dept. They can replace the wiper insert (rubber part) of the wiper blade and it will work like new again. This will also cost less than replaceing the wiper blade with a aftermarket blade that will not work as well or clean as well.Best of luck.|||You should be able to purchase wiper blades for just about anywhere. Walmart, KMart, Zellers, Canadian Tire(if you are in Canada), etc. The main concern you need to know is what lenght (inches) each blade is. Also most department stores have a reference book to check the blade lenght. Depending on how much you are willing to pay, the range is vast. I purchase the $5/blade cheepy ones and replace yearly. Some can cost much more and may need to be changed just as frequent. Your choice.|||You will probably have to buy two sizes of refill blades for that cobalt.
The blades are two different sizes, unfortunately, available at autozone.

How do you change a wiper blade on a S10 pickup?
you pull the arm back on it,,and release the little holder next to the middle of it,,and slide it out,,or you can but the whole thing,,and it is easier to replace that way,,i usually buy the complete thing,,instead of just the refill,,i hope this helps.|||Depends upon what year.
Some years have pin type, some have hook type.
Pin type-Use flat head screwdriver between wiper arm and blade
then twist. To reinstall they just pop on.
Hook type-Raise wiper from windshield to form %26quot;T%26quot; then pull down on blade. Do reverse to reinstall.

How to change rear wiper blade on Infiniti fx35?
If you go to Auto Zone they can help you to fix it. Is depending how the manufacturer designed, some has tabs some is like bayonet stile with a pin that you push in. The way they are installed are pretty common for any car now days. If not, take it to the dealer, if you can afford it.|||Here%26#039;s a thread that will answer your FX35 question. I have replaced my rear wiper a couple times.

|||dealer would be the best bet, i know those little rear wipers on some cars are a pain to try to get off and on. i dont know about infiniti but all you might need is a little wiper insert to get replaced not the whole blade. i say its up to you where you want to get the blade or insert for it but go to the dealer to get it put on, they know what they are doing, most likely they will have a oil changer come out and put it on for you, oil changers do wiper blade/ inserts all the time especially when winter hits.

How do you change the wiper blades on 2000 Corolla?
The manual doesn%26#039;t say and the illustrations on the wiper blade package are unclear. I%26#039;ve been able to do it on every other car I%26#039;ve ever had or driven, but they were also all American-made. This little rice-burner is Mom%26#039;s.|||If you have a hooked end on your arm you will notice that the blade has a rounded end where it connects. slide the arm end through the opening and push the blade into that end and it will snap into place. toyota trucks have a plate that the blade attaches to with 2-3 screws you may have this type too. but allways take a sample into the store to match because you may have gotten the wrong ones.|||go back to parts store, ask the guy to show you, I%26#039;ve had trouble too ! if you bought them at walmart go to the part store anyway these people are a big help , you might have bought the wrong pair,
Changing wiper baldes on renault Clio 1997?
Hi,
Is there anyone out there who can tell me how to get the old wiper blades off my 1997 renault clio and how to get the new ones on.
I thought it would be pretty straight forward, however, I%26#039;ve been unable to do it.
Thank you all|||Yes, but the mechanism may be tight with traffic film. If it makes it any easier take the arm off the spindle so you can manoevre the whole set up more easily.
I%26#039;ve yet to figure out how to fit those new floppy blades.|||Where the blade clicks into the arm there should be a little tang that holds the wiper on to the arm. pull down on the tang and pull the blade off the hook.|||Lift the wiper arm off the window and turn the wiper blade at 90 degrees to it,some have a little clip that you press, but it should just slide off as you press down.Hope this helps
